Historical Use Of The Power Of Mind

Years ago society was introduced to a long line of commercials to help teens stay away from drugs. The main goal was to penetrate the subconscious mind and let them know, ‘The mind is a terrible thing to waste.’ It worked and even though the 60s and 70s were the mainstay for drugs, in the eighties those numbers diminished. All because we were able to harness the power of mind, the benefits swelled.

If there is anything we’ve learned over the last five years, it’s about the Law of Attraction. Thanks to a movie called; The Secret, individuals just like yourself have realized that we can manipulate our own minds into creating reality. People really have started to realize how much they can benefit from using the power of mind. But while we want you to use this for the positive aspects, some people never get away from the negative.

In the medical world, this is known as the Placebo Effect; people who are told they’re taking a medicine will get the benefits of that medicine even if they’re given a sugar pill. This happens about 40% of the time and is something clinical trials have to correct for. Similarly, the adage of ‘Mind Over Matter’ holds some credence as well. This is how you’ve seen people think themselves sick, or think themselves well. Mind power is incredible!

Do you need more proof? Okay, well just think about all those days that weren’t the best. How many of them started out bad because you didn’t think it was going to be a good day? It happens all the time and trust us when we say it is not a coincidence. In fact, you need to understand that everything happens for a reason, and it’s all because of your mind.

Unfortunately you may have a problem with the scientific evidence, but there is plenty. Quantum mechanics explains that there isn’t matter on a subatomic level and it’s actually just energy. While this is true, there are experiments always being done that makes us realize that energy only exists because of the observer. It truly is the real power behind the mind.

Some of the more fringe scientific studies are trying to link this observer effect to thinks like remote viewing, telepathy, and other ’supernatural’ powers. An even greater extension is that everything we see, feel and hear – all of our sensory inputs, may well be something ’stitched together’ into a narrative by our minds. On the extreme end, this leads to solipsism, the belief that nothing is real until you observe it, and the question of ‘If a tree falls in the woods, and nobody’s around, does it make any sound?’

If you can use the power of the subconscious mind, you can have a wonderful life. However, it all starts with you and the way you train your mind for the future. Understanding the importance that revolves around this matter is only the beginning to your new found success. So where does it all start? How about figuring out where you want to go.

Are you ready to get started? Great, all you need is a goal. Even though you may want to jump on those big picture needs, we always recommend starting out with something small. It could be anything from getting caught up on your house work, to picking one of your smaller bills to be paid by an extra income. Whatever the case may be, you have to have something to work towards.

The sign of someone who’s goal focused is that they’re very driven. They work each and every moment towards some goal, rather than frittering their time away in unstructured pursuits. When they’re working on a goal, they’re driving towards it, rather than do it a little bit, then get distracted by something else. This puts the full power of their mind on the goal, and every little step helps further it. It’s one of those things that’s so difficult because it’s simple. People expect life changing events to be more involved than ‘Make a goal, and stick with it.’

Just think if you could influence your mind to quit smoking, lose weight, make more money, or by that dream home. They are all great things to think about right? Sure, but don’t let it stop with self-improvement. Maybe you want to take the family on that long needed vacation or just get a new set of tires for your worn out vehicle. Obviously you’re going to have to organize your life a little, but with constant affirmation it will keep you motivated throughout the entire process.

Then, the house of your dreams hits the market. It’s for sale. And because you’ve been planning and focusing on this, you qualify for the mortgage, and the owners like what you’re planning with the home. You close the deal and move in – and everything you’d been focusing on, all that energy, has helped realize your goal.

All you have to do is put your mind to it. Once you train it to change your life for the better, it will actually start happening. The only question is whether or not you’re ready to make that leap.
